CHOVÍ BROTHERS

We started with this shop where the Choví family used to make homemade meatballs accompanied by aioli.

The sauce was so successful that we devoted ourselves to making it.

FROM NITA CHOVÍ TO CHOVÍ

Se constituye Choví como sociedad y empezamos a producir mayonesa diseñando la 1ªetiqueta de “Mayonesa Valenciana marca «Nita Choví”.

En 1969 inauguramos nuestra primera fábrica con maquinaria industrial y registramos finalmente Choví como marca. Empezamos a probar y diversificar con nuevas salsas como mayonesa con ajo y tomate frito.

EXPANSION OF SECTORS

Despite our efforts, we had to put aside our famous aioli due to a lack of cold infrastructures. We expanded our range of products to be able to enter the world of catering, we created single-dose sauces and we were pioneers in packing mayonnaise in plastic bottles. Our sauces reached Libya and Morocco.

RELAUNCH AIOLI

With great enthusiasm, we are relaunching the sauce that made us famous.

AJONESA BRAND

We continued to innovate until we came up with our Ajonesa, which we managed to register as a trademark.

1997

FIRST MORTAR

We changed our packaging to the famous mortar and pestle, which represents us and creates a strong brand image.

In addition, we started working in Germany.

INTERNATIONALISATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

We drew up an internationalisation plan and obtained ISO 9001-2000, IFS and BR certifications. We created a CSI+D department, in order to offer the best of the company. We started exporting to Mexico, Holland and the United Kingdom.

STRATEGIC PLAN
AND PROFESSIONAL SOLUTIONS RANGE

We agreed a new strategic plan focused on innovation and exports. We expand our products with the creation of Choví Cheff Solutions.

2010-2013

Pet 25

NEW BOTTLE

To contribute to the planet, we replaced the packaging with a new bottle made from 25% recycled PET.

2014

NEW SAUCE LINES AND NEW COMPANY

Innovamos lanzando el Alioli negro, premiado como producto innovador en SIAL. Ampliamos horizontes con la creación de Choví Food Service para hostelería y Choví Kids con respaldo de Disney, adelantándonos en el mundo de las licencias.

We also created our new logistics plant, Choví Logistics.

A major investment of 15MM euros was made to expand and modernise our factory in Benifayó, Valencia.

COMMITMENT TO CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

For some years now, we have been officially committed to CSR in order to contribute to improving people's lives, the environment, nutrition and society.

Our main milestones have been: 100% recycled and recyclable bottles, free-range eggs, paper bags, single-dose sachets and wide-mouth containers against food waste, among others.

Our goal is to become a 100% socially responsible company.
